picture resolutions

so i have some really awesome pictures but whenever i put them in gamesalad they are blurry. Do i need to save the pictures to a different extension or change something in gamesalad? please help

    They should be .png 72 dpi and the size has to be an even number when you divide by 2.

    ej: 120 x 80 good, 121 X 83 no good.

    What happens if they are NOT 72dpi??

    they might look a bit blurred on the device or on the GS viewer.

    what if my picture is not the right size so i add a column of transparency?

    Gs requires 72dpi. Never use anything else.
    You could resize your image to make it even, or crop 1px from a side, that should not effect quality

    You should try to make it work with the right sizing.. If you add a column of transparency one of two things will happen.

    1.- If you select stretch wrapping your picture will distort
    2.- If you choose fixed wrapping your picture will look fine but this will be problematic if you use a collide rule because GS will consider the alpha column as part of the image and the object colliding with your picture will actually hit in the transparent area creating an unrealistic collision effect.
