So, I just wanted to make sure I wasn't making any faux pas while taking advantage of this wealth of resource and vibrant community.

I'm just learning but also trying to try some non-basic things as well, and asking some questions. I've watched the CookBook and read the wiki and I always search the forums for old posts that might have answers.

A question I have, if I come across an old post that sort of answers part of my question already, or seems to be in that direction, but I have some additional questions, should I just make a new post, or is it acceptable to just bump the old post with some additions?

Loving the forum community, and I'm trying to answer others questions and such when I can, but I don't don't want to become an annoyance.

your better off making a new post just because gamesalad has changed alot in the past couple months. So the older threads usueally have outdated and/or wrong information

and were happy to have you here! :)

Yeah unless its your thread you are bringing back it's normally better to start a new one. you can always quote the old one or even just link to it for a reference.
