New Mac OS X Lion

Hello Everyone,
I have been saving up to get my new Mac to give GameSalad a try and Game apps. I was about to purchase it and I saw the news about the new Mac OS X lion. I was thinking to wait for it since it will be out this summer.

But now I am a little confused because I am not sure how GameSalad would actually work with the new OS. Or should I just get the current Mac OS X leopard since it for sure works with GameSalad.

Any suggestion or opinion? Thank you in advance.

If you get a mac then it will come preinstalled with snow leopard. and I am sure that GS is testing with the developer previews of lion.

Here's to hoping they wont make GS Lion only like they have with snow leopard. I'm on a 2Ghz Inter Core Duo with 2GB, it's old in technological terms and I don't think it could handle another OS update.

The Lion beta testers here said Gamesalad worked great on it.

Hopefully Apple will be very generous and give a nice $30 lion update like they did with snow leopard. but something tells me it wont be as cheap this time around.

I don't think that it will be as cheap because to me at least it is a big leap they work really hard on it and it is pretty much putting the iPad on to the Mac but I do hope that it is cheap because I will be able to get it faster

Well most items on the mac app store are cheaper than the box version so mac os lion would probably be cheap

can you download mac osx 10.7 if you have a mac dev account?(not the beta one, the one after it is out)

GameSalad runs great on Lion! I do most of my development on the Lion partition of my Mac.

I wouldn't wait for Lion, the upgrade will be pretty cheap and if not, GS won't be dropping Snow Leopard support anytime soon.
