Macbook Pro VS iMac

Hello everyone,

I am just curious about your opinions since I am somewhat indecisive. Few months ago, I made up my mind to get the Macbook Pro. However, recently after further research, the iMac started to sink in. One of the reason is that the same price of low-end Macbook Pro, I could get iMac with faster processor and bigger monitor. Specially after they upgraded iMac lately. However, I will loose the advantage to take my laptop around. So what do you think?

    just ask yourself this..... how often are you out of the house and would need to work on GS using your macbook pro. If the answer is " not much " then I would go with the performance and screensize of the Imac

    If you don't leave your house very often for long periods of time, than go with the imac. I have one and its amazing.

    I love the iMac. And if I'm ever out and wanting to work on things, well, I have the iPad with about 3 different painting/vector programs and GarageBand for music and sound effects creation.

    I am currently struggling with the same decision. I want the power of the iMac but also want the portability of the Macbook Pro.

    Definitely go with the iMac, I have both, and rarely ever use the Macbook anymore
