What version of Xcode should I use with GS?

Well, I did it. I sent nearly one hundred bucks to Apple. Now I'm really, really committed.

Question: What version of Xcode should I use with GS? The newest one?

P.S. I'm sorry if this is a question that's been answered before--I've searched the forums, and I can't find any discussion like this, but I know it gets annoying answering the same questions over and over again.

The latest one available when you login to developer.apple.com

You need the newest one for GameSalad but I think if you plan to put the viewer on any second gen devices you will also need the latest version xcode 3 too.

I'm downloading 3 right now. I'm testing on a 2nd gen ipod. Also, all the tutorials online use xcode 3. Do you know if I will eventually need to upgrade to 4? Is that a requirement for submitting apps on the store?

My app was just approved by Apple and I used Xcode 3.2 (I believe). It definitely is not the latest one (4).

Thanks--that's very comforting right now, because I think I'll just barely be able to get Xcode 3 on my mac (big download!). Plus, that's what all the tutorials use.
