Should I copyright my company name?

About to release my first game. Got the Company URL saved for me and all but can't afford a business name yet.

Should I wait and pay for it before I reveal it?
Are there people who would really steal it?

You cannot copyright a company name you can only trademark it.

And no I dont think you will have anyissues unless it is already being used or similar to another company name. Otherwise while a registered trademark give you a lot more legal backing trademark disputes go to who used it first. so as long as your the first an willing to defend it if someone else tries to use it your pretty much good to go.
