mine-craft team?

I was bored today and thought I would be cool to make a mine-craft team. What we can do Is set up a dropbox account and put a mine-craft world on it. Then we can all work on it and the world will be updated to everyone who has the account. Maybe we can all work together to make a town!

This would be even cooler if we set up a multiplayer world. Although I don't know how to set it up. If anyone wants to walk me through it that would be awesome! But do I need to pay for it in order to use multiplayer? I have the older free version but might consider buying it.

    i've never used multiplayer before. I tried connecting and it said "Connection lost. end of stream"

    What can I do to fix this?

    I have a serve that me and jobonoobdude run with our consin and we would love to start one if that is possible. It does cost money if you want a good server.

    Do you have to buy minecraft to start a server?

    yes you do have to buy minecraft to play on a server.
