CUSTOM GAME TRAILERS: BY STORYMSTUDIO -
Option 1: Quake Promo remake:
Cost £200
Remake of my own Quake Builder promo video...Video with exact same animation sequence as Quake Builder Promo, but with your own chosen words and gameplay footage, ending with your website address, or 'available on the app store' message. This will include a simple sound track made to fit the movement.

- Option 1 Breakdown of costs:
- £50 - custom music track
- £150 - time spent updating video with your own content.

Option 2: Revostock Template Customisation:
Cost £300 + template cost (around $50)
Browse the After Effects templates on website revostock.com, choose which one, I will purchase it and update the template with your own images, video clips and text. I will also create a customised music track for the video.

- Option 2 Breakdown of costs:
- Template cost
- £50 custom music track
- £250 1 day spent updating template

Option 3: 100% Custom Project:
Cost: £650 (produce a video 10x better than the Quake Builder Promo)
Create a custom animation sequence, up to 1 minute in length. The animation style will be based on the subject of the game/app, which can be fine tuned via some back and forth with a visual storyboard. It will be created in full HD using Adobe After Effects. Using a mixture of textures, 2D and 3d visuals, camera moves, motion blur, shadows, lighting, particles etc. (the video can be longer if it involves holding on gameplay footage for longer). The video will be far better than the Quake Builder promo utilising all of the advances in After Effects over the past 2 years.

Option 3 Breakdown of costs:
- £50 simple customised music track tailored to fit the animation movement.
- £100 - STORYBOARD: visual and text based storyboard to agree animation style and content.
- £500 - 2 days professional animation work, + 2 rounds of amends
- £0 - provided in what ever format you would like, HD mp4 for youtube/iphone, flv for website, mpeg 2 for DVD.

To include:
- A 30 second to 1 minute promo video/Trailer based on your own given brief and ideas.
- Animated 2D/3d fly through a cool scene, in a style that matches your game
- Camera moves to different screens which show parts of your game play (you provide screen captures of gameplay)
- Animated text, with shadows, reflections, (what ever works)
- Special effects if needed, lightning, lights, tv jitter, explosions, flames, flourishes, motion blur, depth of field...etc
- Some Music tracks can be provided/created but you may want to buy and provide a track of your own choosing.
- Video to be made in HD, 1920 x 1080 for full HD playback on YouTube etc.
- Provide in MPEG4 h.2.64 codec format (perfect for YouTube + small file sizes)
- Provide master After Effects file and assets for safe keeping.
- 2 Rounds of amends after the initial draft edit is provided.

Game Trailers/Promo Videos:
There are so many different ways a promo video could be stylized, but an idea can be taken from the game being promoted.
E.g. dark grungy metal, happy flowery fun, sleek shiny and fast, paper textured gravity world... etc.

I'd recommend around 30 seconds of animation ending on a call to action. E.g. available on the app store now, or visit my_awesome_game.com

The video will be created in full HD using Adobe After Effects, if you already have a logo font you want used or any logo elements (vector files ideal) please send them over. With a rough idea of what you want your video style to be.

Screen captured gameplay footage:
If interested we can discuss you capturing and providing your own in game footage, or if your happy to send over the GameSalad project file I can then record it playing in the GameSalad or Xcode preview windows.

Please let me know if your interested.

Thanks for looking

    Dude pretty good!

But the price is pretty Hefty since most people starting off here seem to be in school.

I'd let you do one for my game, but I wouldn't be able to pay much i'd offer advertising and shouts on the game.
(cause i'm a cheap broke guy)

Ozboy... send me an email and lets see what trades we can come up with...

I appreciate its a bit pricey, for those in school particularly... so definitely aiming at those who've invested some time and money in a game and want a decent promo video to match.

I think its very affordable compared to most other offers. Does the £500 include a splash screen like yours?

    Cheers.

    @PossesiveGaming....

Thanks for the vote of decent pricing...

A simple splash screen is included if needed. But anything too advanced then it will be charged extra..

See the animated splash screen offering here:

The pricing isnt bad per se, but 90% of us here are proper indie developers who have budgets less than £500 for art and sounds, i think it'd be crazy to spend that much on a trailer ... thats not knocking your service becuase you're trailers are great, i just couldnt get near to affording that!!

@beefy... your completely right... I'm not expecting everyone to find the bucks for a promo... but if a few do then it will be worth offering it. If i could do it cheaper and still feel I'm making enough for the effort involved I would.

Rough guide for costs of a video....

There are a few aspects that could vary the cost of the video, but I'll do my best to cover all the options below.

For the video you will need to provide the video clips of your gameplay, or a project files so I can run the project on my own system and capture the needed gameplay footage.

Any of the below options will include a maximum of 2 rounds of amends after the first project to make sure you get the finished product you want.

    Current Project:
I'm currently producing a 3 minute animated video for 'Adobe' the makers of Photoshop, PDF's, Flash and After Effects. It's using a mixture of hand drawn and computer created work animated around in a very cool and current way using Adobe After Effects.
