I have made ski free for the odd few days here and there over the year or so it has been out.
But I accidentally had set it for free this weekend.
All of a sudden, it's number 24 overall in Germany so am keeping it free for a while longer to see if it keeps rising.
Quite exciting, but I have a question :
Say for example (theoretically), because of this massive rise in sales, I get some sort of decent "what's hot" feature. Is it bad form to then re-set it back to a paid app?

Well done though )
I don't see a problem with doing that. Lot's of people set their games free for a day or two or three, and then back to paid. Don't see why you couldn't either. And Lykke has a point. Maybe update the description on the app store reflecting that it's free for just a few days.
I'm guessing you already have links in it to your other paid apps?
Not seen much cross sell so far though, which is a shame.
How Many free downloads you have?
Cheers.
2100 ish on day one
4500 ish on day 2
pretty nice numbers so far.
Still no evidence of cross selling. But I'm happy to get the user base for the game up.. especially as we are waiting to add GC as soon as 9.3 is out.
