Hello fellow GameSalad users!

Some of you may know me from my apps at SecretGameLab.com or my training at AppTrainer.com, either way I wanted to share with you a new site of mine:

I currently just rebuilt 3DTrainer and am beta testing it to make sure all the links and videos are set up correctly.

I could use your help, so if you want to download thousands of free textures, some nice game art, and watch hours of tutorial videos on computer animation, then just visit 3DTrainer.com and use the following log in:

User name: gsuser
Password: gsuser

In return for all the free stuff, please email me by the contact form on the site if you find any broken links.

Also if you could click the facebook "like" button on the site and tell your friends about the site that would really be appreciated!

    @steve, Thank you I am glad you liked the site and the content. Yes you are free to use any of the textures, buttons, controllers, and game art in your games. Just spread the word about 3DTrainer.com

    Interested!but the problem is i am really bad with the art.Being playing with Blender for couple of months which i find it difficult to get below average art result.Do you have a demo video on how the training presentation will be conduct.My email startfree@hotmail.com.Thanks

    @Crazybreadman, Yes Maya is an amazing tool! If you go through my basic series, "Intro to Maya" it will take you less then 2 hours and you will be shocked how fast you can get started.

    I had a look at this site this morning and was truly blown away with the quality of information in the videos and the content available for download. This has the potential to be a great source for art assets and designers. I have a new found interest in art design as I am becoming one with illistrator.

    Great site, I will be recommending it.

    Really useful site. I'm not doing 3d currently but if I was I would be up there grabbing the knowledge as fast as I could take it in. Are you going to add more photoshop training? I am sure if you did it your teaching style it would be useful to lots of people. Textures set up for tiling...

    @AppChogie, Thank you for the nice comments. I care a lot about how one learns a new subject and take a great deal of care to make sure I teach things the right ways! Please spread the word! Thank you!

    @old_kipper, Yes Photoshop is so powerful, and I underestimate how many people don't know how to use many of it's features. Do you have some photoshop subjects you would like me to create tutorials for?

    In fact if anyone has any tutorials they would like me to create on Photoshop or on Maya as it relates to game design, please let me know!

    Hello SGL, thank you very much for this opportunity and the site you are building. We work a lot with 3DSMax but this seems like an amazing site. Most if not all our 3D team members know and use Maya as well. We work a lot with Interns and I think we could very well end up using your site in the future. I will be personally reviewing all of the videos and let you know any issues we find.

    Things with Photoshop that you might do-

    texture map design, mip-mapping/level of detail to avoid moire in games, setting up actions to automate functions, converting photographs to useable assets as background and reflection maps, creating panoramas as scene backgrounds and for reflections, repeats and how to create them, to use as textures, matching perspective, dirtying up textures for aged effects, reflection/bump maps and creating them to match and work with texture maps. The effects of different renderers on time of render and look in combination with texture maps, stills for z layers.

    All these things might be useful.
