Good day my salad fingered friends. :)

My name is Marc and I am currently in the process of setting up a new site for the game art / illustration side of my business. It is under construction but still quite pretty and can be seen here: http://www.sundriedspacemonkey.com
(Click on the monkeys head!) :D

When finished it will contain loads more artwork and several interactive examples (games!) :D.

I recently finished the character and background artwork for the Ultimate Arm wrestling Leagues new flash game: http://www.theual.com/game

While I am polishing the monkey ;) you can see examples of my work in the art and web galleries here: http://www.mrmdesign.com (my web design business).

There are also a few additional 3d examples at: http://www.marcwakefield.co.uk (my personal site-which I haven't done a lot with in quite a while...)

I can create 2d and 3d art in a variety of styles (Cartoon / Vector / Realistic / hand painted / sketchy).

I am friendly, professional (design is how I make my living and not just a hobby), very adaptable and I love what I do.

Best of all.....I am currently available to work on your projects!

Please feel free to get in touch with me via phone or email.

All the Best,

Marc Wakefield

Here is a direct link to my art gallery on mrmdesign.com:

    http://www.mrmdesign.com/gallery/art-gallery.html
    (click them to enlarge)

These are acrylic on canvas paintings which I created for a Charity Art exhibition in 2009 to raise money for the Ellis Harriet Clark foundation, for young children suffering with cancer.

I sold Jack Sparrow, Twiggy and Reuben (my dog) but Wolverine and MJ were left over.

I am exhibiting some more paintings (Edward, Bella and Jake from twilight, a woodland scene with bluebells and a royal kiss) on the weekend of 28th, 29th and 30th of May at:

    The Long Barn,
    Bennington,
    Hertfordshire,
    SG2 7BX

This time 20% of the proceeds will go to The Alzheimer's Society.
So if you are based in the UK and don't live too far away, feel free to come along. I would be happy to discuss any artwork you may need for your games and its always good to meet people in person.

I hope you mods don't mind me posting this here. It is art related as I am showing people another side to my portfolio and its for charidee dahlings. ;)

    Just a little update.

For anyone who isn't aware I can also create 3D models and artwork. I just completed a project for a forum member.

Here are a few low-poly models I made earlier.

Click the links to see them in 3D in your web browser!

    A Braindeer (don't ask :) )

    An awesome actor:

Take a look and feel free to get in touch if you want something similar for your game.

Right, so much to do and not enough hours in the day.....
    Smell you later. :D
