Question about the Viewer and personal build

Hey guys,

I'm really new to GameSalad and I'm in the process of making my own game. I'm doing really well thus far, but I have a quick question about testing it on my iPhone.

Basically, I want to show my game to my friends on my iPhone. Obviously submitting it to the Appstore is not an option as it's nowhere near finished (Although I DO have a paid iOS developer account).

I know I can use the viewer, but will this allow me to take my game out and about to show people or do I need to be connected to my Wifi at home to test my game?

Lastly, could I make a developer build of the game that would work on just my iPhone seperate from the viewer?

Thanks for any help.

you only need to be on wifi to load the game to the viewer. Once its loaded you can get to it threw the vecent games tab in the viwer, and you dont need internet then

you can also do a adhoc build

You can make a test build by publishing the game using a distribution ad-hoc profile generated on Apple's provisioning portal.

You can download the profile along with the gamesalad published app onto your own and up to 99 friends' devices by means of iTunes or the iPhone configuration utility which is very handy.

    Thanks for the answers.

Anyone care to explain roughly the steps how to create an Ad-Hoc build?

    Would love you forever!
