Can any body tell me what I need to make my art/ my whole games look more colorful, instead of just plane? I don't know the word to use. Except it's just plain it does not pop out at y'a.

in photoshop, try layer, layer style, drop shadow..... gives you depth

A program won't give you good graphics automatically. You'll have to learn to do good graphics. So just keep practicing and have patience.
