Help Needed - Spawning Patterns of Enemies

Hey guys,

As always, I'm sure there is a relatively straightforward answer to this problem that I'm missing.

I'm looking to create an effect similar to some sections of the game "Coconut Dodge"; patterns of "enemies" that fall from the top of the screen to the bottom that the player must avoid.

Spawning actors randomly isn't a problem, but I can't figure out how you would create them in waves of what are essentially mazes with set paths that the player must negotiate.

I hope I've explained the problem clearly enough, any help would be greatly appreciated!
