New Leaderboard questions
I have a few questions about the leaderboards in Game Center. First of all, I am a pro user. I WAS able to successfully set up Game Center in my app, and it works great! Thanks to all those who posted info on getting it to work, TSB, etc. If anyone is having problems, re-read those messages.
My questions are:
1. How do you set up multiple leaderboards in the same game? i.e. I want them for different modes. My Leaderboard ID matches my bundle ID, but that is for one level. So, how can I have one leaderboard for mode 1, another for mode 2, etc. ?
2. Do we need to have a link to login? Aren't most players who use GC already logged in? and those who aren't, doesn't the app ask them when it goes to post the score? I guess I just want to know what is considered best practice.
3. Is anyone keeping both a local score and a leaderboard score in their game? I saw this in another game that I have and after the game is over it gives the choice to save locally (just on that device) or globally (GC). What do you think about that?
