Flickering Mac Mini Screen

My 4 month old Mac Mini has developed a weird symptom. When it wakes form sleep the screen flickers for around 30 secs to 1 minute then goes normal.

Has anyone had this had to their Mac? Apple seems to play that they have not heard about this before and offered no suggestions except for their genius's

    Since the Mini doesn't have it's own screen built in, I'm guessing that there's a problem with whatever screen you plugged into it. Try using a different screen maybe?
