Hi,
i'd like to create a game with Game Creator, and with a speech recognition. Basically, user will talk to the characters in the game.
I wonder if there is a possible way to integrate the speech recognition and Game Creator.

I only need to process some simple commands such as GO LEFT, GO RiGHT, JUMP ,etc. right now. It would be cool if GameSalad can make it happen. :)

You could totally fake it by having the player push a button that plays an Ogg file that says the same thing. At the end of the day, it's the same result.
    Just a thought anyway....

    Thanks Mike.That'd do it.

I'm thinking about a more general solution. Let's say GameCreator having a dialogue box for characters. We just type the command such as "Go straight" or " Jump", and assign the action accordingly. Then, when the game is on, we speak to the microphone, and the character will do as we speak. So, we don't have to create Ogg files.
I've got the speech recognition done. It realizes the commands; however, but it's slow to respond - about 2 second to get the sound from mic, analyze, and get result. So, i think it won't be suitable for a game setting anyway. But, it's nice if it could be integrated to GameCreator. But from my understanding and others', it won't happen anytime soon. Well, let's wait... :)
