Hi there,
I know that when you're joining iOS Developer Program as an individual, your name you used in the subscription shows as the "seller". But, I wonder, if I write "MyCompanyName" to the "Name" field so that "MyCompanyName" shows as the "seller", and my real name to the "Billing Name" field, would it be acceptable by Apple?
Or do I really need join as a company for it to write "MyCompanyName" as the "seller"? I'd really appreciate any answer. Thanks in advance.

It is not worth the effort as apple sees things black and white.
With so many new registrations, they can afford to be picky so it's better to play by their rules ...
I'll ask Apple how this works, and will let you know.
Thank you for your answers.

Do I have to enter my legal name or may I enter an alias/nickname when I enroll?
Developers must use their legal name when enrolling in the iOS Developer Program.

What determines how my “Seller Name” appears on the App Store?
If you are enrolled as an Individual, your personal name will be displayed as the "Seller Name" in the App Store. If you are enrolled as a Company/Organization, your legal entity name will be displayed as your "Seller Name."
