Display Text not displaying

I'm trying to debug my game by using the display text behavior. The thing is the text is not showing. I tried just the regular default hello world text as well and still nothing. Is anyone else having issues with this and does anyone know how to fix this?

Is the actor visibility set to true?

No. It's completely alone.

Try Send to Front; if still not showing, try simple test on a new GS file to make sure text shows. If it does show, try putting the actor with the text display behavior in the top layer - if you've more than one layer - in the scene of your actual game. If it doesn't show in the test...well, I don't know; I'm pretty much certain there's no bug around, maybe your copy of GS has got corrupted somehow.

One last thing, a really stupid one. Have you put the actor with the display text behavior on the scene?

Or one last stupid thing, did you change the font Color? As the default is white on a white actor.

haha Yes I put it in the scene. And yes I changed the color. But even if I didn't it's still visible. But as for gyroscope's suggestion, I opened a new project and put it in there and guess what? It showed. But not in my actual project. Also, some other weird things are happening. So depressing. haha Thank you.

It's a little bug, but I've had this happen. You may have to just delete the actor and recreate it. It's happened before to me and that always works. Don't know why, but it does.

How about just making the text in a png format with photoshop or gimp, and using an image instead?

Yeah I just wanted to debug. It's no big deal. haha But if it becomes dire then yeah I'll use the image method. Thanks.
