Does anybody know anything about the GS folks re-releasing a fixed version of the software?

Many projects pending... I'm really anxious here...

Thank you!

So, no news from GS officials today (May 16). Let's pray for getting some information tomorrow!
    Good night.

Sorry, I am new to this software, just registered.

Anyone would care to clarify which is the problem that needs fixing in the latest build?

Thank you and sorry for such, I am sure, noobish question :)

Hmmm well Yoda had *hoped* for 24-48 hours big fix, i dont mind it takes longer but an update would be great. The other disappointing thing is that when i sent in my projects as bugs, i got a reply saying there would be news Monday .... Well, its Tuesday and no news!

rst assured they are working on it, but when it comes to communication, now that they have grown, i always take what they say and add a week. although recently it has gotten better
  • gamedivisiongamedivision Member Posts: 807
Well Gs.can we have some kind of communication please

I locked them up in a dark room debugging game salad. They only may come out when they are done. ;)

A bit of news would be nice.

im gona bump the crap out of this because i want to know when the bug fix will be released simple,i wouldnt sell a four legged table with only 3 legs, because its not fit for purpose,so i would like a refund until you fix game salad then i'll feel like it was worth paying for a pro membership, there is no excuse for a lack of communication.we're not playing games here (no pun intended)ha ha. you have alot of paying customers here who expect a service and your service is not following through,im not moaning or whining for an upgrade or extra feature, what i expect is for the product i payed for to work correctly, i dont care if it takes 1 week 2 weeks, what i do care about is when i ask a question it gets answered, is that alot to ask for for $500 a year.

    Hey, everybody!

I've just received confirmation that the developers have delivered a fix for the 0.9.3 issues and they are currently with QA. They are hard at work trying to double check and verify that the issues have been resolved before we make it live.

I hope we get back web preview and rules based on self.image (animation frame checks)
  • AngelGamesAngelGames Member Posts: 14
I'm sure they are working something out.

Looks like Rob2 is also having this issue with the update.

Yoda spoke some 6 hrs. ago and promised a fix within 24 hrs. Hopefully the GS developers have been reading the posts here as well as the bug reports submitted.
  • JBULLFROGJBULLFROG Member Posts: 58
Thanks Angel, I did see that Yoda posted a comment, its yellow, hard to miss ;) I'm not sure where the bug reports are located that's why I asked specifically about the self.image here.

These issues honestly should of been fixed by now in my opinion. Like I know it's probably a hard job. But it should be hit hard and heavy after all the hype for 0.9.3 - I'm glad to see Yoda's good news though. : )

    Question tshirtbooth,

What is usually the turnaround time after the beta-testers? I guess it depends on how many bugs need to be fixed but can you guesstimate?
  • JPickardJPickard Member Posts: 477
Er, I thought we were ALL beta testers. ;)

We sure are but Sous Chefs are, um... Alpha Beta testers. :-) (Or should that be beta beta testers?)

OK, Im very angry but will refrain from swearing. Since the update, I have worked a bunch on my project. saved it and then closed GS and quit GS. opened GS back up, clicked my project, and NOTHING! it wont open! no errors, just nothing. other projects seem to open fine.

    File info:
    Modified Today 3:27PM
    Last opened Today 3:38PM

Oddly enough when I double click to open the .gameproj file it updates the "Last opened" time, but nothing opens.

Please help, I have been working on this project for a very long time, its a very big game.

    And yes, i did restart.

    @JBULLFROG

    Have you tried this workaround?

    http://gamesalad.com/forums/topic.php?id=23193

This sounds like the same issue. Let me know if that doesn't solve the problem.
