SWIPE UP & DOWN ????

Hi.

I've got the swipe left and right(Touchx/Releasex) working at the moment but would also
like to try to implement the swipe up and down(e.g. Touch_y/Release_y) along with it. I've tried implementing this along with the same logic that i used in (SWIPE LEFT&RIGHT) Touchx & Releasex into Touch_y and Release_y but they dont seem to be getting along .

And help or advise pls.

    just swtich all the places that have mouse posoiton x to mouse posoiton y

    when touch is greater then release your swiping up, when touch is less then release your swiping down

    Thanks for your reply john but i actually want both of them to co exist.
    so in other words i want the x swipes and y swipes both to work together and not one or the other.

    in all of your rules you need both constrains for the x's and y's.

    so do i contrain touchx to mouse.position.x and touchy to mouse.position.y

    well, I'm pretty sure touch & mouse position are the same thing. That's what I've seen recently on the forums.

    youll probably have to make 2 extra attirubte have touchx releasex and touchy releasey.

    everything in tshirt video set up with touchx and releasey

    then do the same for the y except change touchy and relasey and change all the mouse posoiton x to mouse positon y

    if they still conflict like that youll have to do like tshirt said as well

    also disregard what nextgen said. hes not aware the touch and relase are attributes you made

    i've been meaning to make this anyway so I took the time now.

    Search swipe demo if you want to download it. this is based off TSB's swipe video. with one change. the code is not limited to a certain scene size. it will exactly as is for any scene size.

    HAHA whoops I just realized you are talking about the swipe direction video. LOL well that demo will show controlling the camera with swipe. Oh well like I said I have been meaning to make that based demo for myself anyway.
