Hey Guys and Girls

I've just uploaded a new website for

www.stormystudio.com

Still a lot of pages to add and info to fill out...but the pages that currently work as they should are:

- home page
- portfolio (more apps to add)
- and studio

As I'm trying to setup more of a professional company doing motion graphics/animation and a bit of app development. I thought I'd start by making the website look more pro...

There are quite a few typos/grammatical errors floating around, and some of the other links might take you to a empty template page. So no need to tell me about them...

Its hopefully already an improvement on what was there.

The large image at the top that changes, if you click on the Quake Builder, or Motion Graphics pic, it will play a video in that window.

It has a twitter feed at the bottom, so if I do a new tweet (I don't actually enjoy twitter much but...) the site gets updated, google will see that your site is regularly updated and it should slowly move its way up the google search results page organically.

(oh the link to the app store for 'Escape Artist' game doesn't work yet, as the game is waiting to be approved by Apple).

Let me know what you think of the new look, layout etc.

Cheers

Jon from stormystudio

Looks amazing so polished! Loving all the info seems so real and would attract me as a customer. Is the team just you or are their others?

    Cheers.

the BIG team... is just me..

(with my wife offering to be office manager...not sure if that means she'll do any work or just wear a name badge)

but if I got any work that was big enough, I could get in friends/colleagues that are freelance editors/animators... etc..

This is the current BIG plan anyway... not leaving my full time job yet... but just slowly making some tentative steps that way....

I love the simple, clean look, and 'out to white' theme. I really like sites that avoid vertical scrolling. If you went that way in my twisted opinion it would be wondrous, but it's only my opinion.

thanks old kipper... if I new a bit more about how the current design code worked I'd consider changing it.

But I'm mainly copying bits of code, and filling in what is already a cool template..

    @old_kipper

You really like sites that avoid vertical scrolling? Like... Flash sites from 2004? That's insane.

    @stormystudio

    Looks great.

    Cheers Metronome...

The more I look at the site...the more typos I keep seeing in my rushed text entry.

Great job on the site Stormy. Looks like you've put a ton of effort into it, and I love the look and layout. I'm working on a new site of my own... Half finished though, and I'm too lazy to finish it off yet... I'd love to hear your opinion when it's done.

    I am ... in Surrey ...

    How about this:

open http://maps.google.com and search for "surrey bc canada"

I am close to Surrey Central Mall

Come for coffee .... anytime! ;-)

(google loves us so much that they sent a special little car with a special little camera on the roof to ALL of our streets ... so, have a look around :)

not for us successful app developers!

We NEED ways to spend the money Apple sends us all the time.

At first, it was exciting but now, sheeh, NOT ANOTHER CHECK again!

Plane tickets are a great way to spend some of our royalties :)

    many thanks JPickard and Gyro...

Really trying to keep the website up to a certain level.

Just got a few more sections to fill in now..Animated idents, creative services and app services.

I added another template to my collection last night..A 3d room that you can spin around (taken from my dark asylum game...still in the making)...

What do you think of the template layout... is it clear enough that you have to click on the images to view a video preview...?

    Hey world...

just thought I'd re-ignite this thread about my site...

Still yet to completely finish the site but it has been growing well.

With the TOTB3 pages and a decent selection of growing templates.

Still yet to do the service pages....to promote GameSalad services, Animation services and a full game creation service. Had a bit of interest on some of these already... fingers crossed a few will come to fruition and I'll be living by the sea in no time...

Awesome site, had a good read through. I like your aspirations:
