PLEASE HELP. I have been working around the clock on my giant update for Tap Them and I get on this morning and double click my game file and it doesnt open....then I look at the folder and where it usually says the size of the project it says "--" like nothing is there. I just saved as normal when I last saved.....what in the world....please tell me it isnt gone.

When i apple+I click it for info it still says it is 24 MB....it will not open at all....

John, you've saved me time and time again. THANK YOU!

I did search for "game file not opening" in the forums, so thanks for the link, I wouldve never found it.

I strongly suggest we all back up our games to a dropbox or something at least once a day. This is all beta after all.

yep most of us save as a new file each time we make a change or do anything to it so we always have a newest backup of the project. I have about 100 different project files for my newest game so far

Not a bad idea JPickard. Seriously...my whole body was racing lol I just kept thinking in my mind "no no no no NO!".

It was like watching the entire series of Lost and the power going out in the finale haha. I felt like my game was just not getting to where it was great, and then BOOM see ya!

Come to think of it, We should be backing up the latest versions of the whole GameSalad Application. I've been too scared to use it all week because of the upgrade fiasco, and wish I coulda just used a saved version of the previous version.

My stuff is "Time Machine" to another disk. Also have DeJa Vu set to copy to another drive, then for extra precaution, Super Duper to another drive.
And before i open a project, i command-D it so i always have that too.
