I posted this yesterday but got no help. There has to be somebody on line who can help me.
Thanks in advance.

Working on a Pinball game.
The Pinball controls the camera. Everything works great except for the first ball.
The ball gets spawned and you can play the game but the camera will not follow
the ball into the upper playing field area.
Every spawned ball thereafter behaves correctly.
Any ideas?
Its not a 9.3 issue since I am still working in 9.2.

When there are multiple actors with camera control attributes inside them, in this case the pin-balls, the camera tends to work oddly. Try having only 1 pin-ball on the scene at once by spawning another pin-ball after the original pin-ball is destroyed.

hmm thats Odd. I'm going to throw out ideas solely based on guesses since we really need to know more about your project to really now. but here goes. I'm guessing your using a spawn and destroy of each pinball but the first pinball is placed in the scene. if thats the case try unlocking and reverting the initial ball back to the prototype. thats the only thing I can think that would cause the rest of the balls to work but not the first.

Or kill the first ball and spawn another at the start of the scene?

No. There are no Pinballs in the beginning. The first ball is spawned as well and there is only one ball at any given time on the field.

The rules are all in the prototype which gets spawned by a game controller.
When the first ball gets lost a new ball is spawned.
Again all the balls behave the way they supposed to except the first one.

Only one actor on the scene controlling the camera (the Ball)

Maybe you need to Make the Size of the screen Bigger! That Way It might Work, Once I have a Simillar problem and solved that way…

    cheers.

Why not have another actor constrained to the X and Y positions of the ball controlling the camera instead, when the first ball is destroyed it should skip over to the next one if you change the global attributes when a new ball is spawned ;)
