Display Text IRRITATING

This sometimes works and sometimes doesn't. I place an actor with a display text attribute in a scene and press the scene edit play (I don't know what else to call it). When I move the actor around the text sometimes moves with the actor and sometimes doesn't. I don't know why but it has become very frustrating.

    Hi Mr Rinoy, how odd. I guess the actor with Display Text attribute isn't constrained with another actor? If you have one actor with a display text in it, it's "welded" to that actor, I can't see how it can become separated....
    How is the actor being moved, by touch, keyboard controls or left, right,up, down?

    I think I know what your doing wrong. You have to position your actor with the display text behavior FIRST, then hit the edit play button. While the edit play button is running, you can't move actors around and see real time results. So, move the actor around, then press stop. Then press play again, and you will see the change. Not sure why GameSalad does this, but it does. Hope this makes sense :)

    It didn't used to be like this. It used to be possible to see real time results. Is there any way to go back to this?

    Ah, gotcha. "The scene edit play", the quick preview, whatever - I don't know what it's called either! Still, I think it's just one of those things that hopefully will be fixed one day. I can see it'd be annoying for you.
