What kind of ipod I need to run the game viewer

I ran the viewer on my itouch a while ago but not since updates. In the gameviewer download it says:

-Works on all iOs device
-Must be running version 3.2

However, My itune says the latest update available for my itouch is 3.1.3. My Xcode organizers seem to say that only the older versions are supposed by Xcode, while gameviewer seem to require newer one.

I'm a bit confused? Do I need a new Ipod because mine is pretty old (not sure what generation it is actually might be the first or second one) Any info about this would be appreciate, I can't really afford a new itouch.

Your iPod Touch must be a iPod Touch 1st/2nd Gen right? You must do Adhocs from now on

I think that my itouch is even older than that XD I don't have the version 4 of Xcode so it might have been the problem (currently download that huge 4go file)

Hopefully it will work, thanks a lot!

Is there any update for the setting gameviewer tutorials?

Trying to follow TSB's video but it changed so much... I'm a bit lost.

I have just installed the viewer on my ipod touch 1st Gen. I can get my game running on it up to a point before it crashes. All was ok before the last update. So it looks like its adhoc from now no.

KK I guess I'll try that. I might have made a wrong setup though the tutorial is very different from new Xcode and I can't even manage to complete a build.

Edit: I need Wifi running to use gameviewer right? I tought just plugging the cable worked, and my wifi not working right now :S
