Change Scene Behavior; "Previous Scene"

Does "Previous Scene" mean the scene that the player just came from? Or does it mean the scene to the left of it in the creator?

I'd like to make a "stats" scene that displays how the player did. If they don't do well, I'd like to have a button that "goes back" and the player can replay the level.

I have many levels in my game, so, previous scene would work well for me if it goes back to the scene the player was just playing.
