Multi swipe scroll

I am desperately trying to make multiple columns scroll up and down based on swipe independent of each
-much like when in Iphone's calendar when setting the date-- scroll to set date, scroll to set hour, scroll to set minutes, scroll to set pm. It's so elegant there and it comes to rest nicely centered on the Y with a nice slow into place. It seems so easy and you see the like everywhere.
Any suggestions??
