PAPER TOSSING TEMPLATE

I'm very pleased to announce my new 'Paper Toss' template is now up for sale. (A GameSalad version of the super popular iphone game)

•Swipe to throw ball at the angle you swipe,
•Featuring realistic physics when bouncing off the bin,
•Throw is affected by the amount of wind from the fan.
•The fan changes wind speed and direction randomly after each throw.
•In Game score and High score
•The ball flies over the top of the bin but drops inside. (hiding/unhiding of actors)
•If you miss the bin returns to 0

All artwork included (with PSD files provided).

The template is easy to understand, the gravity, wind speed, and ball speed can all be changed quickly and easily. The artwork could be replaced, the fan animated, a shadow added along the floor, backgrounds changes, theme changed to cannon balls and running chariots, pop gun and rubber ducks, (or what ever floats your boat)...

The clever bit I personally think, is the game mechanic for swiping a ball and sending it off at that angle. Then having it drop down and collide with objects it has flown towards.

    Took a bit of thinking, but came together well in the end...

    I'll certainly plan on making myself a game using the same game mechanic in something soon...

    Would obviously work really well with GameCentre leaderboards...

    I was thinking of doing a template like this, but decided against it thinking someone else would get to it eventually and what do you know, I was right :) Looks great stormy!

    I have to admit I did a double-take on first viewing that video... might want a little more space between the letters on FLICK. :)

    Edited to add: It is a nice looking template. I like the use of the physics for the toss and fan blowing.

    Each of the templates I have has a video walk through to accompany it.

    I used to play a game similar to this on my phone a while ago. Loved it. Brother and I would go head to head. Brought back memories with this one.

    I too spent many an hour, plus a lot of my wifes 3 day labour playing Paper Toss...

    Also remember having an unofficial contest at work to see who could get the highest... 120 ish I remember winning.
