Hey everybody this is a problem I found. I don't know if someone already mentioned it. But you can copy the GC rules from the template into your own game. This should not be allowed. I just want to be sure that gamesalad knows about this. Also will it work if a nonpro user used these rules. Has anyone tried it out? I just saw it works, i will test it out and see if it works.

It works only before you submit and launch the game. Gamesalad server detect it. So get a pro or leave it.

There is more than one way to get pro features in your project however it will all be stripped out when you publish to any platform if you are not a pro member.

that is great news. I don't want people to use these rules without putting in the effort to make a good profit and then go pro. I will be releasing my first 2 games soon. So I am hoping to go pro when gamesalad adds Android publishing and in app purchases.

All GS users (free or Pro) can copy and paste Pro attributes into their game from other templates that have the features. Those attributes will work when testing in GS and on the viewer, but once you go to publish to platforms, GS recognizes that you are not pro and will "comment out" where ever pro features you have put in.

Yah everything that you have pro will be gone during the publishing process if you aren't really pro.
