Hey, I just downloaded GameSalad and I'm really interested in making a tower defense (I assume it *is possible?). I'd really like any tips you can spare like:
-how to make HP bars above specific entities (or actors?)
-how to create a waved enemy system
-how to make actors follow a path (I assume it's something like "move to point A, when at point A move to point B... etc.")

Thanks for reading.

Hey there. Welcome to GameSalad. You've got some great enthusiasm and thats great but you have lots and lots to learn. especially if you have never made a game before. So first and foremost the is a ton of information provided by GameSalad. So click that support tab at the top of the site and watch all of the Cookbook tutorial videos, As well as read through all of the information in the help link as well. There is tons of great information there. and you will learn a lot of what you need to learn before diving into the project you want to make and sell.

The most common problem new users have is that they start a project that's WAY over their head. Have to learn how to crawl before you can even begin to start thinking about running. Take a few days to fully understand how behaviors work and how things are supposed to function.

Then you can start by thinking about how things work and then implementing them into your game(s).

I believe you can do anything you put your mind too so that's okay! GameSalad is very easy to pick up. I reccomend you check out this for Tower Defense type movements - http://gamesalad.com/wiki/how_tos:gsc_wave_movement

haha, i think onyxstone meant spawning in waves of enemies not the movement of enemy in wave like motion. for tower defense, you have wave of enemy to complete before proceeding to the next.
