How do you record gameplay for a trailer?

    Use a screencast software, you can just google it. You can get free and paid ones. I can't recommend any though. Sorry.

    I have screenflow. It is the best I have seen. You can even delete the mouse cursor from the video so that it doesn't look like you are playing with your mouse.

    You can insert a different picture of the mouse as well so it can be a finger to make it look like someone is playing.

    Its really great, you should look at it.
