Really Frustrated: Changing Scene Issues

In a car chase game I made, if you hit another car you obviously die and it changes scenes to the 'GAME OVER' page. Earlier I decided to re-design this page. When I was done i deleted the old scenes and changed all the behaviours saying 'when destroyed, change scene to carchasedeathscene(oldscene)' to 'when destroyed, change scene to carchaseendscene(newscene)'. Really frustratingly, it just doesn't change scene anymore! Please help me, Thanks.

    Did you make sure that the new scene is spelled exactly the same as it is in your change scene script?

    I checked it from the list of scenes when you choose the scene to change too.

    @crazycow

    I haven't seen this issue come up, and most of the time relates to spelling as @SlickZero mentioned. If that isn't the issue, please feel free to send a report to BUGS at GameSalad dot com.

    Also, I edited the thread title to more accurately reflect the subject of the thread. The original title didn't really help.

    Ahh, sorry. I'm still in attribute mode. So does it just stay in the same scene when the car is destroyed?

    And maybe try making another scene and see if it will go to that one. If it doesn't go, then I'd bet that something got jinxed in the behavior changes.

    Yeah, the car explodes and then nothing happens. I'm a little bit busy at the time being, I'll have a look again later. Thanks everybody, but if anyone has any other suggestions to my problem, please say.

    Maybe that the instances of actors in the scene still have the old rules in?

    What do you mean? I'm still a bit of a GS newbie.

    I bet that's it. crazycow, did you delete and replace the actors on the stage after you made the behavior changes? If the instances on the stage have been unlocked, they wont reflect the behavior changes you make to actors in the library.

    Okay.. And what's the solution though?

    Delete the actors on the stage that have the behaviors to change scene, and replace them with the actors from the library with the new behaviors in it.
