Can someone please clarify this iTunes Promotion code for me!

There are some great games being released here by the GS community and the developers and posting up the Promo codes here which is great, but because I'm here in the UK, the code will not work on my iTunes account.

I have seen some posting saying how to setup a free US itunes account to get round this, but my questions are:

1. I already have my UK iTunes account thats synced to my iphone, can I setup another account (which I assume is a fake US) just to download these promos and if so how does that effect my UK account and syncing to my iphone?

What happens is:

The apps downloaded from the US as 'free' go into your apps folder in iTunes - you can then use them just as you would any UK ones.

When you sync your phone, it will sync to the US store. So you redeem the code, download the game, sync your phone, and it's on your phone fine.

However, if you try and download other apps from your phone now, it's still synced up to the US store and you can't buy anything.

SO - once your US game is on your phone, log out of the US store and log back into the UK one. That way, you're back where you started, other than having a free game on your phone.

That should do it!

Just set myself up a US iTunes account, so now I can start leaving some feedback for these other hardworking GS developers when they drop some more promo codes!
