How many levels is reasonable for a puzzle game

I'm making a puzzle game and I have the target of 100 levels but I am really starting to struggle for level ideas without just repeating parts of previous levels.

To the people who have made puzzle games, how many levels do you try to aim for?

I know I might be asking how long is a piece of string. But I want to release the game and I would hate for someone to think it was too short and they had been robbed.

I released Danger Cats! with 60 levels.
I just released an update with 20 more.
I'll release another update next month with another 20.

Stunt Squirrels currently has 20 levels, but they're a little bigger.
However, It is built with the same system as Danger Cats!, so it will be easy to keep adding levels.
I made it primarily for the MacWorld competition, and wanted to finish it in time.

If the levels take a little bit of time, I think 20 would be acceptable, especially if you mention in your iTunes write up you have XX more on the way in the next release.

For a lite version, what do you all think? 3? 5? 10?

If the levels are quick, then 40 to 50 is probably a good starting point.
