How do you slide the screen across?

hi, many of the games on the app store currently such as angry birds and siege hero allow you to slide your finger across the screen to see the levels instead of clicking an button to go to the next scene. Would this be possible in the free version of gamesalad and if so, i would i attempt to do this?

TSB has some videos on the GameSalad Cookbook Channel that shows you how to do this for free. Just search for "Multiscreen Menus" in the GameSalad Cookbook YouTube Channel, and watch all three parts. If you don't feel like taking the time to do it though, I have a you can purchase for only $10.00 that will take care of all the coding.

in the video, he has a bigger screen for the game, he didn't explain how you get that, how do you get that screen in order to do the slide thing ?

Once your in the scene you want to slide, go into Scene -> Attributes -> Size and adjust the size of the scene to whatever you want. Hope that helps.

Lay out all the buttons/levels you want to have on your menu on the regular sized scene. Then, when you need more room, just expand the scene to fit the additional level boxes.

I'd take an hour or two and sit down and watch all those videos, that way you have an excellent foundation in using GS and will help you understand the simple things so you can focus on making really awesome games!
