Cannon Physics Demo - Control Camara Question

I'm altering the Cannon Physics Demo, but I'm stumped figuring out how to use the Control Camera.
My goal is to control a single cannon ball (back an forth) with a mouse click and have the camera follow it.
I've deleted the cannon and turned off all references to Control Camera in the cannon ball.
I've put a cannon ball in the scene and added these two new rules to it: 1) Control Camera 2) if object is touched, accelerate 100.
When I run the game, the cannon ball falls to the ground as expected (because of the original rules), when I touch it, it rolls as expected, however the camera does not follow - not expected.
I've been digging and digging to see what I'm missing.
Thoughts?
