Anyone live near Alton Towers Resort?

If anyone from the UK does.. could you suggest if now is a good time to go. All the secondary school are doing GCSEs so if I wanted to drive down this week would it be that busy? I know you can't tell until the day but has anyone had experience during this time just before exams?

I realise there is a very slim chance of anyone actually knowing but still worth a shot.

    Not sure about June to be hoenst, I think that now half term is out the way it could be a good time, school trips shouldnt be kicking in yet, but you never know.

    Me and the wife tend to go in september after schools have gone back, again just after a school Holiday, but more often than notits still busy but not mental.

    Though the exams are on for some, schools do run trips during June/July. The quietest time of year is reckoned to be during the week of the early Autumn term.
