Do iads show up on your device

Hi there,
I recently updated my game to have iads. I downloaded my game (free game) and there are no ads on it. Does apple not let you view ads on your own device for click fraud purposes? Also it just got approved today, and I downloaded it right away. Does it take time for the adds to get online?
