Hello guys, just a quickie.

If some of my scenes are hanging around the 50mb level am I wise to make the game arm7 only?

And if so how are older device owners notified not to download. Is it automatic on the App Store or do I need to specify in the details text?

Thanks Danke Merci

Hi danke, I'm really interested to know what ARM7 has got to do with GameSalad...

If they buy the game on iTunes, there is no notification until they sync their older device. I just bought a game that was arm7 and I tried to sync my iPod 2G......says it's not compatible-wasted 99 cents.

As your link showed Apple use Arm processors in iPods (and iphones and ipad) and when you publish in GameSalad you can select arm6 or arm7 compatibility for older and newer devices respectively.
(PS my name's not Danke - thats german for Thanks! lol)

Thanks iTouchGamer - I wasn't sure if Apple do the job but obviously not. I might be able to get by but some of my levels are just under 50mb.

Hi ApplaudApps; and danke (merce, thanks)! Silly me, i'm losing it big time tonight.... (glad I made you laugh though! :-)

Right, understood about arm7; I haven't got to the stage of publishing a game yet so i'll get to that at a later point, thank you for instruction.

    From DaftasaBrush ;-)

Apple does have a requirements section in itunes that tells you which versions the app requires.
