Sound Bug?

I'm not sure if this a known bug or just my imac. For some reason GS doesn't want to play audio files, especially as sound files. I have tred this with multiple different audio files with the same results. GS also seems to randomly take ages to import a really small audio file. The importing loading bar doesn't move so I have to force quit the application.

I'm importing them as mp3s and didn't have this issue with the previous version.

Any help?

Thanks

Try to convert them to .m4a for the music files and .ogg for sounds and see if that works?

GameSalad uses .m4a and .ogg It's better to try that than to import .mp3's and let GamesSalad do the conversions.

Why can't you answer his question here where everyone can benefit, why would you want him to email you?

Converted multiple files to ogg and m4a no luck :/

"Yes and the reason I didn't post it on the forum was cause it's to long and hard to explain ,

If you would like , send me all your sound files and I'll convert them for only $10

It is to hard to explain as it takes a while to actually convert only 1 sound file "

I'm happy for any help, I'm sorry mate but don't take the piss.

It takes no time at all to convert 1 sound file...Don't send him all your sound files. You'll just hear them later in another game.

I won't... it's not even the fact that he could steal the sounds it's the fact that he's charging.

I opened up one of my older games I made and it also now refuses to play any sound. I'm guessing this clarifies it's a 9.4 bug :/

You can convert them online. There are lots of free online audio, picture, etc. converters around the web. A lot don't even require an account.

BTW, I'm having the same trouble to, in a way. GS won't play sounds I import as sounds--it only plays sounds I import as music. Have you tried that?

Thanks jb15.. Music is no good as you can only play one music file at a time :/

Really? That's awful...I thought I had found a good solution to my problem. Rats. Let me know if you find a fix.

There's a bug in the current version of the GS Mac viewer where sounds will not play. Should work in the iPhone viewer though.
