Pirate Rogues is best described as a casual adventure RPG.

I know there are a lot of issues to address in the next update! Game mechanics can be a bit clunky, long load times, etc... But feel free to offer any honest feedback. Don't hold back - you won't hurt my feelings!

    very creative! the game looks different to what has been done before and so well done for getting it done congrats will check it out soon! loving the canon ball toss to the other side been tracked by the camera...story different game modes..you've got a nice package here - i watched the trailer a few times and the only thing that bugged me a little was the fire animation but i couldnt see any other problems in the trailer btw - it looks a little like the canon fired twice with one cannon ball coming out?

    That's an incredible good game! I'm very happy that so many GS people try to make something pro and unique, and don't want to rip off successful games. Good work!

    game looks very good, but this suppose to work on ipod 2nd? i download it and it quits on the beginning on the checkpoint :(

    - Gyroscope, I never played Monkey Island, but I'll check it out! I was mostly influenced by Sid Meier's Pirates! and an old Flash game called Murlock.

    That really sucks! I've played on iPad and iPad 2 without any problems... But it sounds as if people are having all sorts of issues... This was my first GameSalad game and I think I have way too many rules in place and scenes and things that can potentially break. In the update I'll simplify!

    - mangaroo, it DOES look like the cannon fires twice. In that scene there are ambient explosions going off in the background that are randomly timed, positioned, and sized. And one just happened to go off right in front of the cannon as it was about to fire. I guess just bad timing when I did the screen capture!

    - guilleface, I am working on an update that simplifies the amount of rules used (among other things) but to be honest I couldn't say for sure that it would have an impact on iPod 2nd gen support. I have a 3rd gen iPod (I had to look up just now) and it works perfectly - I'm not really sure why it would work on one but not the other since they use the same iOS??!

    Maybe I should spend more time in technical support forums?! But what a shame since the point of GameSalad is "no coding required" and its not my core competency!

    Anyway - sorry it doesn't work...

    I played your game for a while, and I'm really impressed! It's one of the best GS games! I love it :)

    i think because my ipod 2nd is older and memory sucks, i cant still understand why if this devices cost a lot and memory are cheap why cant they make them with 1gb of memory, anyways good luck with sales, i can see you really put work on it,hopefully later on i upgrade to a newer ipod :)

    I've just restored the tier 1 pricing and added a note that performance may vary on iOS 4.0 or less. In the next rev - I'll have to make it

    If anyone is curious - making the game free for a couple days got about 8000 downloads and a bunch of 1 star ratings... Geez people don't respect the effort it takes to make a game and then give it to them for free!

    PhilipNewzealand - 100% GameSalad (animations prototyped in Flash). Awesome tool!!

    yes your are right, i would say a 3 or 4 rating they should leave when is free, so the dev can work on a update.where do you see the star ratings? i only see 3 reviews on itunes and 20 ratings or does ratings have nothing to do with reviews?
