icon, square or rounded?

my game is almost done but havent done an icon. how do you make an icon for your game? do you upload it as a square then apple automatically make the icon on your iOS device rounded? or do you have to design it?

    just make it square. Apple will do the rest

    Just make sure when you make it square that you design it so that nothing important is in the corners (like letters) that will get cropped off by Apple.
