how to install IOS 5 on your ipod

Guys dont know how to do this and dont want to mess it up... been trying to do it but how in the hell i got this firmware install in my ipod...?

    Update iTunes and Xcode first. Then download the iOS 5 program, double click it, and it opens up in Xcode, select your device in the scheme at the top left, and select the version that you want to restore to, you'll have the option for iOS 5 in the menu, select that one, and then restore device.

    After it restores to iOS 5, you need to re-sync with iTunes to get all of your files back on the device. Make sure everything is checked to sync in iTunes so that you get everything back…contacts, pictures, etc...

    Oh ok i was missing the xcode part thanks man. I will try it now

    or click alt and restore on itunes, and choose the file
