sorry but can someone clarify the arm6 and arm7 thing?

to what i read when publishing a game i have to choose between arm6 and arm7, so if i choose arm 7 my game will work on newer devices but not older,same way around? so basically one game cant never be download it for all devices? and someone told me i cant make a version of my game for arm6 and arm7

    No you can only choose ArmV7 only. otherwise it publishes to all of them.

    You cannot atleast with GameSalad restrict it to only armV6

    When you publish your app with GS, it is automatically set to arm6, that is ALL iOS devices with the correct version of iOS can install it. In the Advanced section of the Options page in the Publishing Wizard, you can choose to make your game arm7 only so that only newer models can download your app. This is done primarily when your app doesn't preform well on older devices. If an older device tries to download an arm7 app, it will be notified the app can't be downloaded. Hope that helps.

    I believe it will let you download buy it, just not install it. Maybe that's only on the computer, haven't tried it on the device itself.

    Ya it will let you buy it on iTunes, but not on the actual device if my memory serves me.

    ok thanks everyone now this is very clear to me :), i thought this was going to be a big issue but not anymore, i guess the best thing before publishing is try to test the game on each devices to see how it runs
