alright guys, i know this topic was posted a little over a month ago, but i cant seem to find the original thread i posted on the issue, so i am forced to yet again create another new thread on this issue, so i would like to first apologize for doing this. NOW heres the issue as well as how far ive come on working towards a workable solution.

I need to create a system similar to what apple has created in garageband for the ipad, which is create buttons that respond differently depending on how hard there hit, now ive done this by ting the volume into the z axis control, now i know this is problematic because it would mean the person would have top have the ipad set on a flat surface to work, but i think its the best method ive found thus far for doing this the equation looked something like this z-axis+1.5 so the volume starts half way up, then when its hit harder and harder it increases, i also am aware that with velocity sensitive keys on a drum machine for example, there are actually different sounds that play, and im also working on this. But id like to start with this first issue of, getting the drum machine to chance the volume based on how hard its hit, because obviously, this simple equation input into the sound level of the play sound option, hasant cut it, neither has putting it into a rule, when actor revives event touch is pressed change game.sound volume to... whatever, i would like to thank you for any help and or ideas you may have in advance

Honestly what i really need help with is getting the volume to respond to a changing level, because it doesnt even seem to fluctuate with this system i have set up now

Hi wroachbarrette, sorry to disappoint, but there aren't any appropriate behaviors in GS anywhere near, for registering how hard or soft a user touches/hits a button.
