Iad revenue as of late and futuer of iads

So I recently started to put iads in my website. I realize that most of the internet chater is a few months old.
I did a bit of research and it seems that iads seem to be only "meh" in internet circles.
Hopefully apple keeps this up and keeps it going. Does anybody see iads falling. Ive only followed apple for a small period of time do they just randomly kill stuff like iads?
