Timer Movement

Hello, this is my first post and I just had a question about creating a Timer.

I understand how to create a Timer, as I already have done so. My only problem is that my game requires the character to move out of the initial start point where the camera is following him. How can I get the timer to stay within the camera that is following the actor? For example, if you continue to move forward in a game, how can I get the timer to stay fixed on your screen no matter where you are in the top right hand corner?

I had this question when I just started too. Go into scene, layers, and there will be one layer that says "background". Create a new layer by clicking the plus sign at the bottom of the list. Call the layer HUD, and uncheck the scrollable box. Drag the layer HUD above the background layer. Drag your timer onto the scene relative to the bottom left corner, not the origin of the camera. However, make sure future game objects are put in the background layer for them to behave normally. Hope this helps! :)

I did not understand that part, mind to elaborate on that?
