Just found out this video on Toucharcade:

This is amazing idea, something I was always dream about. The iPad finally becomes a device which can completely replace desktop and notebook.
I can't wait to see what this guy will come out with. Does anyone know if they got a website or something like that, or how to contact this guy?

Yeah this sounds really awesome. I would personally like GS to run on iPad. IT would make flights so much more productive! :)

I stopped watching when he said, "there's a script editor..."

The way that it's different from GameSalad is that it requires knowledge of coding! Arggg!!!

    This looks great.

Don't be put off by .lua scripting I have been learning it, hence my absence. Old Kipper and myself have made some pritty interesting stuff. Currently we are working on a child's title that uses the camera within a story and I have recreated my upcoming gamesalad game InvaderTron in .lua also.

It's not for everyone but when 0.9.3 messed me up I had a play with lua and liked it. I still am devoted to GS just having fun learning and developing myself as a developer.

From what I saw in the video that's nothing close to " completely replacing desktop and notebook " for developing. Also there been stuff like that to make small apps or games on the iPad and iPhone for a while now. It's cool when u think about it and when u want to mach something up quick., but it's not fun at all trying to align something pixel perfect with touch like that. If I'm really working I'm gonna go to my computer no matter

I think it looks nice, but is what we commonly refer to in the industry as 'vaporware' :D

I have not heard that term in years. (not officially released or cancelled) :-)

That was a rough presentation. It looks like where GameSalad was two years ago. It also seems like it's trying to do too much... do I really need a graphics editor?

I'm perfectly fine with making games from a desktop. If staying at my desk is too much of a problem, there's Remoter VNC (which works on the iPad and iPhone) and there's the MacBook Air. It seems that a refresh to a lot of Mac hardware lines is coming soon.

Yet, it's still competition for GameSalad — which is in a rough spot right now. There are probably a lot of upstarts that think, "I can do that better!" GameSalad really has to get moving and blast the competition out of the water!

About the lua scripting thing, if I understand it right these guys have some kind of a flowchart action editor, reminds me of a Kismet from Unreal Engine 3, so I thing we will be able to create some action on screen with this editor. It's still far from anything usable, but if they continue to work on this tools it might come into something really sweet. At lease I would buy an iPad 2 only for this.
