    It depends on the game. If I am playing a simple game, than I prefer it to be endless and compete for highscores. But if its a puzzler that has to have levels, than I don't ever care for highscores. Personally, I like it when games MAKE you get a certain amount of stars to unlock the next world or more levels. It makes you play the game more.
